About Cindy

After graduating from San Diego State College with a bachelor's degree in sociology, Cindy Gorton catered to people in her position as a Pam Am flight attendant from 1972 to 1991.
During this period and after, she lived in London (13 years) and Paris (14 years). These cities nurtured her passion for antiques, decoration and fine arts. While in London, she learned the Antique trade and exported antique porcelains to the U.S. on a regular basis.
In Paris, while visiting the galleries and antique shops, she fell in love with old prints and paintings. At the private organization L'Amaurial near Versailles she perfected old world European framing techniques. Recently (1994-1999) she gathered retail experience as a partner at the near Paris art and gift shops Bleu de Chine.
She brings the best of both European and American eyes in decoration and art together.
